This is the frame only, it doesn't come with a mattress, but we can recommend several good ones. Contact us for help. Our Bifold Studio Futon Frame is made of Solid Poplar Hardwood, and is unfinished, and has no odors or chemical outgassing. This frame has been around for a long time. It's similar to one called the Clam Bed, which was also a No Arm frame, which is great for taller people, or limited wall space. This frame is very easy to operate, it has 4 positions of reclining. It's a simple looking frame with clean lines that will lend itself to any décor. It is also very nicely sanded and smoothed. Poplar wood has a slightly greenish tint to it initially, but that will turn into a light brown within a few weeks, or within an hour if placed outdoors in the sun. This frame does require a good amount of assembly, but the instructions are written in English, and are clear, and holes line up like they should. We do recommend having a small cordless screwdriver.
