Welcome to NaturalFutons.com. A site owned and operated by Fantasy Futons and Furniture, in Phoenix Arizona. Fantasy Futons and Furniture has been in business with physical stores since 1982. We started our first website in 1998. We reached far more customers online, and in about 2007, we closed out stores, and operated out business completely online. We still have a warehouse, not opened to the public, which we service all of the local Arizona customers that have been loyal to our business since we opened our doors.
NaturalFutons.com is site that will bring you mostly Natural, Sustainable, and Organic products made with blends of some of the oldest ingredients used in futons, mattresses and furniture for hundreds of years, like, Horsehair, Virgin Wool, Buckwheat, Natural and Organic Cotton, and others made with some of the newest technology using Soy, Gels, Latex, Conventional Bonnell Coil Springs, like those used in the seats of Horse and Buggies, or Individually Pocketed Steel Springs made from recycled and tempered steel. Other furniture items we sell are made of natural unfinished wood, or finishes that are non toxic, sustainable, and have no, or minimal outgassing.
There are some products and technologies that are just too good to pass up, even though they aren't natural, or organic that we're still going to sell. They will be clearly marked as made with non organic, or synthetic products, like polyester, acrylic, and other ingredients used in Microfiber Futon covers, or outdoor futon covers that resist sun fading, stains, mildew, mold, and can be cleaned with bleach, with no damage, Like Sunbrella fabric, or Outdura fabric. There might even be some futon frames that are finished with oil or lacquer based finishes, that are so unique, well made, and dependable, that we can help but have them a part of our business. We will clearly mark these products for what they are and will be completely transparent about what they contain.
